In reply, Ravi Bopara, Plays sensible knock of 84 runs from just 59


balls with 5 big sixes and 4 fours. This takes match away from RCB.

Another exciting match was DD vs CSK and Delhi daredevils

score massive 189 for lost of 5 wickets. Thanks to the great

inning of AB de villiers, he socre the 1st century of IPL-09

from just 54 balls he made 105 runs.

In reply, CSK strat very well, but after Hayden get out. its getting

difficult for CSK. in the end they has score 180 for loss of 9 wickets.

still its good fight given by CSK. Interesting match though.

this is a really good day for IPL. People want to see such kind of

matches in IPL.

One of the best and exiciting match was on air yeasterday.

Baroda's Super hero, played great inning in just one over.

He hits 18 runs in just 4 balls and wins the match single

handdedly.

RR mades 150 in their 20 overs and KKR manage to make

150 some how. the match was tie. and then comes the new rule

of superover. its wornderfull. Branden Mcaullm and Chris gayle

come to play 1 over for KKR and they score 16 runs. Now

From RR, Yusuf and Jadeja, both gujarati comes to play the over

and Yusuf did it with scoreing 18 runs, 6,2,6,4 and win the match

for RR single handedly.

Great Pathan, I am pretty happy because he is from baroda.

Rain is the highlights of Yesterday

Lalit modi were saying that, south africa was chossen as venue
because there is no rain in this time. But every thing is going wrong
for this IPL, i think god also didnt like it to be played in southafrica..
lol..

Kings XI Punjab lost their match due to rain and duck worth lewis.
so, the 1st win of series for Kolkatta Night riders. Sharukh must be
happy man. Ganguly takes 2 wickets and surpirsed everone. and
chris gayle is orsum hitter.

Mumbai Indian and Rajasthan royal gets 1-1 point each. This 1 point
will harras other team in the last.

Nothing exciting in this season of IPL till now.

65 in just 35 balls with 9 fours and 2 sixes. CSK puts

commanding total of 179 with loss of 5 wickets.

RCB, surprise everyone by sending pravin kumar in

opening. But, it didn't work. he bowled out by Goni in the 1st

over. and then they never get momentum to build a partnership.

murli's killer punch was too hard to bare for RCB he gets 3

wickets in the match. and also Murli is the man of the match for

the day.

CSK win the match by 92 Runs.

This time Deccan Chargers charges themself well i think.
Wonderful performance by the team. The most stylish
team of IPL -09, Kolkatta Night Riders, never in to the game.
Deccan chargers outplayed them by wonderfull bowling and
fielding. KKR only manage 101 in their 20 overs.
Fidel Edwards bowled fast and gives only 6 runs in 4 overs.
R.P.Singh is the pick of the bowler with 4 wickets.

Herschelle gibbs and rohit sharma, play till the end and
confirm the victory. gibbs make 43 and sharma 36.
New captain McCullum tried everything in bowling but only
ashok dida get 1 wickets.

KKR team never gets in any partnership during their innings.
and so they lost the match, easily.

First match of Delhi v/s Punjab, wins by Delhi comprehesively.
Due to rain, match was cut to 12 overs only and punjab batted first.
They started very well, Karan Goel hits massive 3 sixes in his 38
runs. But, after stratagy break, wickets falling quickely and they
only manage, 104 for 7 wickets in their 12 overs.

Delihi Started well, and after 1st over again rain interputed the match.
Viru, plays the major part in the victory. He hits 38 runs in just 16 balls
with 3 sixes and 4 fours.

Unlucky Yuvi, feels Duckworth-lewis always adds to the advantage of the
team batting second but thats how it is. Face the reality.

Jumbo-Dravid is Back

The 2nd match was between RR vs RCB and the match was
awesome. Kevin peterson, was the captain of RCB and he
decided to bat first. But the first 2 wickets fall very quickley
and then Rahul Dravid stands as a Wall and make 66 runs from
just 48 balls with 8 Fours and 1 Six. His marathon innings put
a good total of 133 runs to win in 20 overs. For RR Dimitri
Mascarenhas bowled superb spell of 4 overs for just 20 runs with
3 valuable wickets.

For RR batting was not that good. They start hitting every bowel
and didnt consantrait on build a partnership. and lost 2 quick wickets.
shane warne really thinking of how to handle the batting department
after seeing his lads throwing their wickets. Lots of hopes with Yusuf
Pathan but, he also get out to the veteran great bowler Kumble. Kumble
bowled exceptionally well, with 5per in the 1st match. his figures were
3.1 overs 1 maiden 5 Wickets for just 5 Runs.

Warni, has to think lot about the betting department in upcoming matchs.

Sachin Leads from the Front

The first day in IPL was awesome. First there was a chance of rain

and i thought there may be delay or might be play will not be held

due to rain. But, thats to God both matches were played.

Old hourses comes to help the team today. and in the first match

between MI vs CSK, the Great Sachin plays wonderful innings of

59 Runs in Just 49 ball with 7 fours. There was no six for some time

and i was worried that today may no sixes will hit but thanks to

abhishek nair's efforts he score 35 runs in just 14 balls with 3 sixes

and 2 fours. The total score of MI was 165 and its winning total on

southafrica's soil.

In answer to the MI totals of 165 start was not that good as they

lost two early wickets. Hayden and Flitoff played some shots but

they can't build a partnership. Dhoni Play sensible cricket but

Malinga bowled wonderful spell of 4 overs with only 15 runs and he

got 3 key wickets including the skipper of CSK Dhoni. In the end

MI win and win comprehensively.

Sachin was the man of the match for his 59 notout innings.
